Received her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo at that time when smartphones were not yet available in Brazil. She decides to follow a scientific career and, presently, is about to complete a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine at Escola Paulista de Medicina - UNIFESP. She has experience in software and systems development and, in her brief scientific career, worked with mass spectrometry analyzing the venom composition of a venomous pit viper (Bothrops atrox) and with antibody sequencing of vaccinated individuals against COVID-19 using the Nanopore platform. She is a karate practitioner and enjoys reading books and drinking tea.
