Science and nature lover, anime fan, gamer and geek. Love to learn new things and practice exercises (calisthenics, kung fu, crossfit) in the free time. Edson is a biologist, has a master in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a PhD in Bioinformatics. He has experience with shrimp farming, in vitro plant culture, bench analysis in transcriptomics and RNA-seq analysis. Currently he has a post-doctoral position under professor Helder Nakaya's supervision in bioinformatics/system biology analyses with a focus on Transcriptomics analysis at CSBL and the Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases (CRID).
