Computational neuroscientist trying to make sense of life's endless forms most beautiful. Loves to talk about life, the universe and everything - especially over cold beer and food. Thomaz has a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology, and a masters in Neurosciences from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil. As a postdoc at CSBL, Thomaz has been working with Network Medicine, drug repositioning for inflammatory and psychiatric disorders and the molecular mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the brain. He is also working together with his CSBL teammates to implement the lean/Agile work philosophy in the research group.
