Microbiology (USP, 2023), an MSc in Microbiology (USP, 2013), and a BSc in Biological Sciences (UFSCar, 2010). I also completed an MBA in Project Management (USP, 2022) and I’m pursuing a specialization in Health-Applied Bioinformatics (PUC Minas). My PhD investigated the antifungal activity and mechanisms of 2-aryloxazoline derivatives against Candida spp. My academic work includes peer-reviewed articles on Candida inhibition, the crystal structure of Candida auris dihydrofolate reductase, lipopeptides from Bacillus with antibiofilm effects on Fusarium, and prolonged intra-host SARS-CoV-2 evolution, as well as two Encyclopedia of Mycology book chapters. I presented at IMC12 (2024) and INFOCUS/ISHAM (2019), review for the Brazilian Journal of Microbiology (since 2023), have BSL-3 training (Institut Pasteur/USP, 2020), taught at IPPESP (2022–2023), and co-invented Brazilian patents on nanostructured drug-delivery systems.
