Obsessed with animals and a keen naturalist. Fitness enthusiast and always considers herself a ‘forever student,’ Spends free time in cooking (especially Indian cuisine) and listening to music. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology. In her PhD she worked on genome sequencing and analysis of potato Late Blight pathogen Phytopthora infestans. During her PhD she developed interest in Bioinformatics and then decided to learn more in this field. As a post-doc researcher at CSBL where she is working on various fields of transcriptome and microbiome analysis.
